Running out of Retin-A is a true tragedy in the world of skincare and anti-aging, as I’ve come to realize. In my latest video, I share my skincare journey and the vital role Retin-A plays in maintaining my skin’s youthful appearance, especially as I recently celebrated my 40th birthday.
As I began to run low on my Retin-A, I started to skimp on its application, thinking that less would still yield results. I quickly learned my lesson when a painful bump appeared on my chin. A few days later, it worsened, transforming into an unsightly ingrown pimple. Realizing my mistake, I committed to a diligent application routine and started seeing results within days. Retin-A’s ability to expedite cell turnover was evident as my skin began to peel and heal rapidly.
At 40, I’m proud to say I have smooth skin with no visible lines or wrinkles, and I attribute much of this to my Retin-A regimen. Besides my face, I also use it on my chest, arms, and even my hands, although I tread carefully around the sensitive eye area. My journey with Retin-A has even extended to tackling a chronic condition on my arms, which originally seemed hopeless. Applying Retin-A there has led to significant improvements over several months.
Currently, I find myself in a bit of a crisis because my dermatologist is based in Las Vegas while I’ve been on the East Coast for the last five months. This unexpected situation has left me with only a small supply of Retin-A. Unlike retinol, which didn’t work for me in the past, Retin-A provides instant benefits, and I can’t compromise on that.
You might wonder why I don’t just visit a dermatologist on the East Coast. Well, I believe in continuity of care—it’s essential for me to see the same specialist who understands my skin history and needs. Thankfully, my trip to Las Vegas for an upcoming appointment means I can replenish my stock of Retin-A soon.
Once I return to my skincare routine with a fresh prescription, I’ll have the freedom to apply it generously across my face, chest, and arms. Plus, there are ways to enhance the effects of Retin-A further, which I detail in previous videos where I discuss my consistent and straightforward skincare regimen, as well as additional procedures I’ve integrated into my routine.
In conclusion, if you’re still skeptical about the significance of never running out of Retin-A, I hope my experience illustrates its importance. Do you understand now why it’s crucial for me? Retin-A truly is the holy grail of skincare and anti-aging, and I can’t wait to get back to my full regimen!

Ladies, I can’t express how nerve racking this journey was… I know in the grand scheme of life, it’s a good problem to have but, when it comes to skincare, to me it was a tragedy what I was facing.

Hi! What’s the name of the prescription Retin A ? I’ve seen Retin A in tubes.
I’m in my 40’s & have been using Retin-A (on & off) for the past 18 years. I only wish I used it on my neck/chest for as long. I do look a lot younger. I think it should be mandatory that all ladies use it. I use Retin-a at night & glycolic acid lotion during the day; a good sunscreen is a must too. 😉
